Individually Guided Retreats at Freeland

The Community of St Clare, Freeland, are offering the opportunity for individually guided retreats, at the Old Parsonage (Guest House of the Community of St Clare, Freeland). Dates are available between Monday 16th July to 23rd/24th July.
The director will be Rev'd Carolin Clapperton TSSF (Retreats may last the whole week, or for a shorter period of time if desired.)

South London Franciscan Walk across Southern Dartmoor (for ages 16-30)
This long bank holiday weekend has been organised by the Third Order Franciscans to offer students an opportunity to experience the ancient Franciscan way of life.
In early June (2-5 June), up to 12 young people are invited to join a group that explores Franciscan community by;
1) Wild camping across Dartmoor ( ‘the pilgrimage’ 2-3 June)
2) Staying at Bullaven on Dartmoor ( ‘the retreat’ 4-5 June)
We will do this in community, taking time to pray and celebrate the Eucharist, to be silent and to study as well as to relax and get to know each other informally.

WANTED: a new Membership Secretary to manage the TSSF database
Fran Childs is stepping down as Membership Secretary and we urgently need to find a Tertiary with IT experience to replace her. A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required as well as a working knowledge of ‘mail merge’ and label runs. This is a job that requires a good eye for detail, patience and tenacity; a sense of humour will also be a great help.
